EZ-MILL Express 2022
EZ-MILL Express is a 2, 2 1/2, & 3 axis machining software. This product is designed to operate CNC machines such as knee mills, machining centers, plasma, laser, and routers. You will benefit from the easiest to use but advanced, 2D & 2 1/2D wizards since the early 80s. New Contours, New Pockets, New Face, New Hole Pattern, New Holes, New Lettering, New Thread Milling, and Chamfer make up the entire wizard family.
Our EZ-MILL Express software is unique because we are able to maintain ease of use even though we are adding new features or modifying existing. Any new development is carefully managed so as not to overpower a wizard’s initial dialog box. By design, these wizards ask you for the least amount of information upfront to create a complete program–all advanced editing remains in the background.

When importing a solid model, there is little need to create path curves. You have the option to generate tool paths by simply clicking on faces. Eliminating path curves saves you time and requires less skill.

EZ-MILL Express is too powerful to be considered an entry-level product, but you can grasp this software as

EZ-MILL is a 2 through 4th axis (indexing & wrapping) machining software. Included are all the EZ-MILL Express features. Investing in EZ-MILL for a little more money will provide you with just the right amount of automation worth buying upfront. You will gain the Curve Machining Wizard, Feature Recognition, Hole Recognition, and a basic 3D wizard.
Using EZ-CAM’s Curve Machining Wizard, you can eliminate sifting through old programs when attempting to be consistent in producing accurate parts and achieve your best part finishes. This feature uploads all your default strategies stored in a programming library. “EZ-CAM ships with a comprehensive library to be used as a template.” The Curve Machining Wizard is tool-based driven, meaning your tool selection determines feeds, speed, stepover, and other critical attributes that are tool-related. To work with this application, you (1) double-click your path,(2) choose an operation, and (3) select a tool to upload all your settings.

If you are importing solid models, there are two options to generate your paths: Feature Recognition and Hole Recognition. Auto-generated paths are to be used by the wizards mentioned in EZ-MILL Express, or you can launch the Curve Machining Wizard that requires no editing.

Finally, EZ-MILL offers light 3D machining. A straightforward 3D wizard provides you with machining options to completely rough and finish 3D surfaces. You can expect excellent results from tool paths such as Pocketing, Parallel, Radial, Longitudinal, and 3D curve projection.

EZ-MILL PRO

EZ-MILL PRO 2022
EZ-MILL PRO is capable of 2 through 4th axis (indexing & wrapping) machining. Included are all the EZ-MILL Express and EZ-MILL features. All the 3D tool paths mentioned in EZ-MILL are also a part of EZ-MILL PRO. The highlight of this product is our advanced 3D wizard.
When you purchase this software, you will gain the tool path necessary for big jobs.
These tool path options will help you shave hours off your programming, allow you to take a more logical approach to remove material and make it possible to achieve better part finishes.

When you want maximum performance on your 3D projects, you’ll need Re-roughing, Re-finishing, Equidistant (consistent step-over no matter the slope of the surface), Plunge Milling, Constant Z, Pencil Milling, and 4th axis surfacing.

EZ-TURN Express

EZ-TURN Express 2022
EZ-Turn Express is a 2 axis turning software made especially for X-axis and Z-axis machines. Supported options include gang tooling, front and rear turret, bar pull, main spindle, and sub-spindle. EZ-CAM’s wizards include roughing, finishing, grooving, drilling, and threading, which is structured to compete heavily against a conversational control’s custom macros.
Our roughing wizards include New Turn, New Bore, New Front Face, and New Back Face. These roughing wizards provide you with the option to insert canned cycles into your posted g-code. When you check Canned Output and your post-processor is set up for this, EZ-CAM will produce G70, G71 & G72.

Our finishing wizards include a New Profile (O.D. and I.D.) and a New Face Profile (front or back). And for additional wizards mentioned earlier, there are work steps such as New Groove (rough, finish, and rough & finish), New Drill (centerline drilling and tapping), and New Thread.

EZ-TURN

EZ-TURN 2022
EZ-Turn is a 2 axis and multi-axis Turn/Mill product designed to program advanced machinery with options such as rotary axis, y axis, live tooling, main spindle, sub-spindle, and any accessories.

As you would expect, included are all Turn Express features.

For milling, you will find wizards such as Shape Milling, Surface Milling, Lettering, Pattern Drilling, Curve Milling, and Curve Drilling. Turn/Mill allows for machining on the face and side of your part in both the main and sub-spindle.

Wire EDM

EZ-EDM 2022 - Wire EDM 2022
EZ-Wire EDM is a 2 through 4th axis wire software. EZ-EDM offers various wizards such as New Die & New Punch, Motion Record, Hole Recognition, Die Profile Recognition, and Auto Create XYUV Workstep.

Our New Die wizard is user-friendly; you select the correct die type depicted in the drop-down menu. And our New Punch wizard requires minimal information upfront to generate your wire path.

There is an advanced section in the background if you need more control in either of these two wizards.

Tapered segments, versus a continuous taper, are handled within a dialog box called a Motion Record. In the Motion Record, you click the segment that has a change in taper status, and then you specify your angle.

If you are importing solid models, EZ-EDM automatically provides all your paths in a single click using either our Hole Recognition or Die Profile Recognition. To finish the job, add your paths to your New Punch or New Die wizard.

For complicated fourth axis models, we have designed a wizard called “Auto Create XYUV Workstep”. When you apply this wizard, you select the bottom of the 4th axis surfaces, then the top, and after these two clicks, you have a wire work step. When you return to edit this workstep, you will find complete control to make any mandatory adjustments.
