EZ-TURN

EZ-TURN is an advanced turning and integrated Turn / Mill programming system designed to allow both turning and milling operations to be defined directly from 3D data in one seamless environment. Turning profiles can be defined by slicing through the axis of an imported model and milling path geometry can be extracted directly from model features. Robust custom stock roughing, multi pass profiling, threading, grooving, drilling, cut-off, and bar pull operations handle the toughest turning requirements. EZ-TURN also supports multiple spindles, turrets, and coordinate systems. Canned cycles can be used to increase efficiency and reduce program length. Fully integrated milling capabilities support both C and Y axis configurations and allow standard 2.5 axis milling operations to be performed on the face or wrapped around a specified diameter. Advanced verification displays both turning and milling together in a single environment, ensuring that any mistakes are caught before they reach the shop floor.

CNC Turn Programming Simplified !

Best CNC Turning Software – Easy to Learn & Use

EZ-TURN is an extremely capable integrated Turn/Mill programming system with many advanced features. Robust custom stock roughing, finishing, threading, grooving, cut-off, and bar pull operations handle the toughest turning requirements.

EZ-TURN also supports multiple spindles, turrets, and coordinate systems, and canned cycles can be used to increase efficiency and reduce program length.

Fully integrated milling capabilities support both C and Y axis configurations, and allow standard 2.5 axis milling operations to be performed on the face, or projected or wrapped around a specified diameter.

Solid simulation/verification displays both turning and milling in a seamless environment, and ensures all mistakes are caught before they reach the shop floor. Multiple tool libraries can be defined to meet your specific machining needs. Post processors are available for virtually any machine, and a post editor allows you to create or customize your own.

CAD Features

The wide array of intuitive CAD features are the foundation of what makes EZ-Turn the easiest to use CAM system available today. Automatic filleting, one-click trimming, dimensioning and mathematical function plotting are just a few examples of EZ-Turn’s state-of-the-art CAD features. Creating any shape is easy with over 100 geometric construction cases supported.

Geometry can be created in any plane using the Multiple User Coordinate Systems. Import IGES, DXF, DWG, VDA-FS and ASCII surface files. IGES loading is optimized for importing all major CAD system files. Dynamic rubberbanding lets you preview the results of a command before completing it; and if you make a mistake, you can Undo/Redo up to 25 consecutive commands.

Machining

EZ-TURN’s powerful machining cycles allow you to tackle even the most complex turning operations. The face, backface, turn, and bore cycles allow you to control all aspects of the roughing toolpaths. And the new Custom Boundary feature for roughing cycles lets you define a rough stock shape for more efficient machining.

Multiple pass profiling gives you full control over finish passes, and the grooving cycle allows groove cutting on any angle. All cycles use unlimited look ahead undercut detection to ensure gouge-free machining of all your parts. Drill and Thread cycles give you complete control over lead-ins, multiple passes and clearance values. EZ-TURN means maximum productivity.

Tool Library

You can now create multiple tool libraries, mixing and matching tools to suit your own specific machining needs. Create separate libraries with default tool locations and compensation numbers for each of your machines. Edit tool parameters on the fly without affecting the library database. Dynamic tool shape rendering shows your tool profile as you change each parameter.

Simulation

Checking for programming errors is now easier than ever with the Solid Model Preview function. Follow each move as the 3D animation shows your tools removing material from the part. You can zoom up to see smaller areas, control simulation speed, and even set translucency to see hidden features. This important feature gives you the peace of mind of seeing your parts run before sending them to the machine.
